Victorian Lace Stitch

Victorian Lace Stitch

This unusual cross stitch technique dates back to Victorian times. It is called Lace Stitch and uses two weights of black thread to create the design. It was commonly used as a edging instead of lace. In this design the technique is used for the full design.
